Maeno Parent-Child Summer Evening Festival

The Parent-Child Summer Evening Bon Odori Festival, held on August 22 and 23, 2026 (Reiwa 8) at the schoolyard of Itabashi Ward Maenomachi Elementary School, is reborn and expanded led by the Maenomachi 4-chome Neighborhood Association along with neighboring associations newly joining: Maenomachi 4-chome Kita, Mitsugi, Kita-Maeno Dai-Ichi, Maeno 5-chome, and Maenomachi 6-chome. This festival is positioned not merely as a fun event like a parent-child Bon Odori or social gathering trip, but as part of activities to protect the safe and secure lives of local residents. While working together across the entire community to prepare for disasters and ensure daily safety, the festival aims to deepen bonds between residents and build a more livable town through such local exchange events. It offers an opportunity to enjoy a summer evening with neighborhood friends through Bon Odori dancing and various entertainment.
