Corraini's Bookmaking: Artistic, Free, and Exciting
Japanese name:コッライーニの本づくり アートで 自由で ワクワクで
📅 Sat, Nov 21, 2026 - Mon, Jan 11, 2027
About this event
This exhibition introduces bookmaking with artists by Corraini, a gallery and publishing house founded in 1973 in the historic Italian city of Mantua. Treating books as works of art, numerous unique picture books and art books that respect the creators' creativity will be exhibited. In particular, through the works of internationally active artists—such as Bruno Munari, who greatly influenced Corraini, Steven Guarnaccia, Taro Miura, Andrea Antinori, and Noemi Vola—visitors can experience a free and playful world enjoyable for both children and adults. The exhibition also looks back at the history of exchanges between the Itabashi Art Museum and Corraini spanning over 20 years through works by connected artists. It is an exhibition that parents and children can enjoy together, discovering the fun of colors, shapes, and ideas while actually turning the pages of picture books.
