Held at the Nishitokyo City Comprehensive Support Center for Persons with Disabilities "Friendly," the "9th Friendly Festival" is an event where local residents and facility user groups deepen exchanges. On the day, numerous mock stalls will open, creating a lively atmosphere with cotton candy, yakisoba noodles, various beverages, freshly harvested vegetables, and more. Stage programs are also planned where groups that regularly use Friendly will present the fruits of their daily activities, showcasing singing, dancing, musical performances, and magic. Additionally, balloon performances will be held twice a day, and exhibitions of works, games, and experiential booths will be provided, allowing visitors to learn about group activities and deepen mutual ties. The event goes ahead in light rain, but will be canceled in stormy weather. Because no parking is available, visitors are encouraged to use public transportation.
