Kaetsu University Hisho Festival

About this event

Kaetsu University's campus festival, Hisho Festival, will be held on Saturday, October 31, and Sunday, November 1, 2026. This year's theme is 'Festival Fire: What you want to try becomes a festival,' aiming to serve as a venue that encourages students' desire to take on new challenges. On the days of the festival, numerous mock stalls showcasing students' creativity and ingenuity will be set up, alongside the Koda Marche selling local products, and powerful stage performances by the dance and pop music clubs. In addition, sports programs for elementary and junior high school students will take place, including mini-basketball trial sessions, a youth soccer tournament, and volleyball clinics. Furthermore, presentations on the outcomes of high school-university collaboration projects and the award ceremony for the 3rd High School Public Relations Idea Contest hosted by Kaetsu University will be held. On Sunday, November 1, the Kodaira City Council will host the Student and Council Opinion Exchange Meeting, providing a valuable opportunity for students and the younger generation to exchange views on the appeal of Kodaira City. Diverse programs are prepared for visitors to enjoy, including VR game experiences and Kaetsu merchandise sales.
