Koganei Christmas STAGE 2026

About this event

"Koganei Christmas STAGE 2026" is a Christmas-themed event held in Koganei City, currently recruiting performing groups from among local residents. Performances across diverse genres are scheduled, including instrumental music, choir, handbells, wind brass music, dramatic reading, and street performance. Eligible groups must consist of more than half of members who live, study, or work in Koganei City, and participants must be of elementary school age or older. Each performance is 20 minutes long and requires a Christmas-themed program. Because the stage uses an acoustic reflector setup, there are limitations on sound and lighting equipment, offering performers a fresh stage for expression. The application period runs from August 1 to September 14, 2026, with selection results notified by the end of September. This event is hosted by the Koganei Civic Exchange Center, and inquiries should be directed to the Koganei Miyaji Gakki Hall Ticket Desk.
