About this event
The "Sagamihara International Friendship Festival 2026" will be held to promote mutual cultural understanding and deepen exchange regardless of nationality. Planned and operated mainly by citizen volunteers, this festival offers a valuable opportunity to encounter diverse cultures. At the venue, the "Japanese Plaza" (Nihongo no Hiroba) will host speeches by foreign residents learning Japanese and opportunities to interact with attendees. In the "World Cuisine" section, delicious foods from around the globe will be on sale, allowing visitors to experience foreign cultures through food. In "World Music", performances of folk music from around the world will entertain and energize the venue. In addition, world dance and song performances, a children's play area, and a bazaar are planned, providing enjoyable content for people of all ages. Also commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Sagamihara International Lounge, this promises to be an even more special event.
