Space Intersection SAGAMIHARA 2026

About this event

The space-themed experiential event "Space Intersection SAGAMIHARA 2026" (Uchu Kousaten SAGAMIHARA 2026) will be held in Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture. Set at Sagamihara City Museum, this event promotes the charm of a town where space feels close, marking its 2nd edition following last year and becoming even more powered up. The centerpiece content is a special live performance by ermhoi and Marty Holoubek at the planetarium, featuring the world's first fusion of "1 billion stars x 8K visuals." In addition, a wide variety of programs are prepared, including space-themed gourmet foods like "Space Basque Cheesecake" and "Space Soybean Gelato," a space market by creators from across Japan, workshops where participants can make their own original alien figures, and "Messages from Gyamimi," a mystery-solving game exploring inside the museum. It is a 2-day event enjoyable for families where visitors can eat, solve mysteries, and fully savor the universe. Saturday, November 7 is also a special open day for the JAXA Sagamihara Campus, allowing visitors to view facility scenes not normally seen.
