4th Peace Central Park Sky Lantern Evening

About this event

The 4th 'Sky Lantern Evening' will be held at Heiwa Chuo Park (Peace Central Park). It is a magical event where lanterns are launched high into the sky carrying prayers with gentle light. Lanterns can be taken home, and advance reservations are required for the first 80 people. The event will proceed in light rain, but will be postponed to the following day in case of rain or stormy weather. On the day, the lantern launch is scheduled for 18:45, with the event starting at 17:00 and ending at 19:00. The participation fee is 3,500 yen (tax included). Cooperation is provided by Japan Sky Lantern Association(R).
