Zushi Community Park Autumn 2026

About this event

Zushi Community Park is a citizen event held twice a year in spring and autumn on the grounds of Kameoka Hachimangu Shrine in the center of the city. Operated by citizen volunteers under the tagline 'An Adult's Holiday,' it aims to create a space for a locally rooted, enriching lifestyle and wonderful encounters among people. In 2026, it is scheduled to be held on Saturday, November 7 from 10:00 to 20:00, and Sunday, November 8 from 10:00 to 17:00. Local food and beverage stalls and sundry goods shops will set up booths, and visitors can enjoy live music performances on the stage set up within the shrine grounds. A talk session themed on diversity was also held, where discussions took place regarding the ideal form of a cohesive society unique to Zushi. Executive Committee Chair Yoshiharu Ouchi, executive committee member Dale Sonya (who is from overseas and part of the LGBTQ community), and Mayor Satoru Kirigaya took the stage to speak from their respective viewpoints on the importance of diversity and the charm of the town. Since the event can be enjoyed even in the rain, visitors can easily drop by. It is a photogenic space recommended for couples and solo travelers as well.
