NIGHT WAVE in ZUSHI 2026

About this event

Held for the first time in 2 years, 'NIGHT WAVE -Light Wave Project- in ZUSHI 2026' is a memorable event featuring special blue-glowing waves. Although there was an unfortunate announcement of cancellation last year, this year's event was decided after being selected as a recipient of support from Kirin Brewery Company's 'Good Ale JAPAN'. The organizers are full of gratitude to welcome visitors once again alongside the blue glowing waves. This project shines a single streak of light onto the waves—which change moment by moment and show an infinite variety of never-to-be-repeated expressions—allowing viewers to face their presence. When the waves are gentle, they appear delicate; when the waves are high, powerful; and overlapping waves show a wide variety of expressions depending on the sea conditions at the time. Confronting these continuously and beautifully changing waves, you can surrender yourself to a mystical and relaxing time. Events are planned on the Zushi Beach Stage, and pop-up booths from dining establishments within Zushi City are also scheduled to open. In addition, in the illuminated windsurfing, professional windsurfers from Zushi will appear amidst the glowing blue-white waves, offering a fantastic spectacle of glowing sails moving freely across the water. Furthermore, on October 10, 'Zushi Beach Candle 2026' will be held in coordination, featuring candle art creation and lighting.
