8th Showa Centennial Memorial: Adult After-School Matchmaking Event @ Minamiashigara

About this event

This is a matchmaking event designed to deepen connections through retro Showa-era experiences. Set in nostalgic classrooms and school buildings, participants can spend a special day discovering mutual values and compatibility while enjoying school-lunch-style meals and traditional retro games (such as kendama, otedama beanbags, and quoits/ring toss). During free time, you can relax and talk with people of interest in an open after-school atmosphere. Eligible participants are single individuals aged 35 to 49 residing in Kanagawa Prefecture who agree to cooperate with a post-event survey. The event is hosted by Kanagawa Prefecture and operated by JTB Corp. Yokohama Branch. Please note that photos and footage from the day may be used for public relations and promotional materials. The participation fee is 2,500 yen (tax included), which does not include transportation costs to the meeting location. Capacity is 20 men and 20 women; a lottery will be held if applications exceed capacity. The application period runs from 14:00 on September 4, 2026, to 14:00 on October 20, 2026. Individual consultations will also be offered online at a later date for those who request them.
