"Teradomari Night Market 2026" is a night market held around Fish Market Street in Teradomari, Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture, with the concept of lighting up smiles on Teradomari nights. Now in its fourth year, the event gathers 1.5 times as many participating vendors as last year. Visitors can enjoy a wide variety of offerings, including fresh seafood, gourmet food, alcoholic drinks, and hands-on experiences. In particular, 19 shops, including "Hamayaki Center Kinpachi," will set up along Market Street, serving famous grilled seafood (hamayaki) and seafood rice bowls. Classic treats such as poppo-yaki, karaage, and french fries will also be available, alongside social-media-ready "blue soft-serve ice cream." In addition, 26 food trucks will offer Cuban sandwiches, Hokkaido french fries, grilled squid with green onion and innards sauce, and more. A "Kids' Corner" features bouncy domes and Molkky games for children. Furthermore, an "EV Tuk-Tuk Test Ride Experience" debuts this year, offering a 10-minute drive. Some food trucks will operate from midday in the parking lot beside the Teradomari Chamber of Commerce and Industry Hall, making it an event where visitors can fully enjoy the Teradomari night throughout the festivities.
