'Hakken. Bouken. Ojiya Pasha!', held in Ojiya City, Niigata Prefecture, is an autumn walking event taking place on Sports Day, October 12 (public holiday). Participants take on the sport of Photo Rogaining, navigating checkpoints on a map within a time limit and taking photos to compete for points. Centered around Socorate, which opened this year, approximately 30 checkpoints are set up, and participants do not need to visit all of them. In addition to visiting checkpoints, points can also be earned through attraction games that both children and adults can enjoy. Top teams will receive luxury prizes and medals, and participation prizes are prepared for all participants. There are Individual, Family, and General divisions, making it an event that can be enjoyed together with family and friends. On that day, you can enjoy a new experience combining walking and photography while rediscovering the charms of Ojiya City.
