About this event
Returning after two years, the "32nd Hometown Tourism and Grand Local Products Festival" brings together the delicious foods and fun of Murakami City and Iwafune District, offering a feast of local specialties. Twenty-eight vendors will participate, selling a diverse selection of specialty goods including salted salmon roe (sujiko), lacquerware, bamboo charcoal salt, ham, pastries, soy sauce, seafood, nori seaweed, and sake. Sekikawa's famous "Nakamuraya Kintsuba," sold daily throughout the event, is a popular item requiring advance reservation. In addition, the "Murakami Bowl topped with sliced Murakami beef steak," limited to 250 servings per day, will make an appearance. On October 24 and 25, various activities are scheduled, including specialty product giveaways, a raffle, children's Garapon lottery, balloon art, a supercar display, and a recycled glass plate making workshop. It is a 5-day event where you can fully enjoy the charms of Murakami with family and friends.
