Jurin-ji Enma-do Antique Market (October)

Held along Omachi Street (Echigo-Murakami Machiya Street) in Murakami City, Niigata Prefecture, the "Jurin-ji Enma-do Antique Fair" is a regular market held on the fourth Sunday of each month from March through October. Many antique enthusiasts visit from both inside and outside the city to enjoy this antique market where you can take your time to discover your own unique treasures. Antique items and vintage curios line the area around the Enma-do hall and the traditional machiya street, offering the thrill of bargain hunting. In 2026, it is scheduled to be held on Sunday, October 25. It will proceed in light rain, so it takes place even with some rain. Access is about 5 minutes by car from the Murakami Senami Onsen IC on the Nihonkai-Tohoku Expressway, or about a 20-minute walk from JR Murakami Station on the Uetsu Main Line.
