Toyama Design Fair 2026

About this event

Announced on the Toyama City official website, 'Toyama Design Fair 2026' is a design festival celebrating its 30th edition in Reiwa 8 (2026). As design becomes increasingly diverse and sophisticated in modern times, this event aims to deepen citizens' and companies' interest in and understanding of design, nurture human resources for the next generation, and promote the city's design. At the venue, a 'Switch Interview' will be held as a 30th anniversary commemorative event, alongside exhibitions of package designs, advertisements, and posters by companies and creators in the prefecture. With winning works from the nationwide student package design competition, design seminars by renowned designers, and numerous workshops for children to get familiar with design, it will be a 3-day event to fully experience the appeal of design. Exhibition contents include the 2026 TOYAMA ADC Exhibition, the Japan Package Design Association Hokuriku Chapter Member Works Exhibition, Package Design Competition Exhibition, Toyama Prefecture Package Design Exhibition, various advertising award winners exhibition, and the 'Graphic x Glass' exhibition corner. Admission is free.
