About this event
The 'Mikawa Morning Market' features stalls on the 1st floor of IR Mikawa Station offering Mikawa specialty products such as pufferfish pickled in rice bran or sake lees, Japanese sweets, and more. Because it is held indoors, you can enjoy shopping without worrying about the weather. With bento lunch boxes, fried chicken, and other items also on sale, it is an event where you can savor local delicacies. In spring, it is held on Sunday, April 5 and Sunday, June 7, and in autumn on Sunday, October 11. During the autumn event in particular, a diverse variety of shops will participate to showcase their proud items, including Arayo's pufferfish roe pickled in rice bran and fugukake (pufferfish seasoning), Futamasa Goshudo's sake manju, Oryori Komeya's fried loach, and Mikawa 37cafe's rice flour fried chicken.
