The Deep Green Forests of Tokachi and Barbizon

This exhibition explores landscapes of deep greenery through artworks associated with the village of Barbizon, located about 60 km southeast of Paris, and the Tokachi region, located in eastern Hokkaido. From the Barbizon school painters' depictions of lush nature woven from light and shadow, to artworks capturing the magnificent nature of Tokachi, visitors can experience the distinctive beauty of green found in each region. Through these paintings, it will be an opportunity to experience the breath of nature from different lands and the connections of art.
