Yatsugatake Wine Festa 2026

About this event

From November 1 to 3, 2026, 'Yatsugatake Wine Festa 2026' will be held at RISONARE Yatsugatake. On the main street 'Piman Street', approximately 200 varieties of Yamanashi wine will be featured, available for purchase in preferred quantities ranging from 40ml tastings to full bottles. With a wide selection from rare wines with limited production numbers to wines from emerging wineries, visitors can enjoy various experiences such as hearing about passion and craftsmanship from winery staff and tasting hard-to-find wines. On November 1, the first day of the event, a one-day-only talk session will be held featuring wine enthusiast EXILE SHOKICHI and Kentaro Shinoda, Chief Winemaker at Suntory Tomi no Oka Winery. Certified wine expert SHOKICHI will explore winemaking in harmony with Yamanashi's rich nature, making for a special moment to discuss the future of Yamanashi wine while enjoying the drinks. In addition, at Alps Square in the center of the facility, 'Mimi Ribollita' made in a large pot 1.2 meters in diameter will be served. This dish is based on 'Ribollita', a traditional soup from Tuscany, Italy, arranged with 'Mimi' (a local Yamanashi houtou noodle specialty) and venison meatballs, offering a gentle flavor suitable for all ages. Along Piman Street, dishes, snacks, and sweets made with vegetables and meat prepared by Yamanashi chefs will also be lined up, perfect for pairing warm dishes with wine. Furthermore, activities for both adults and children will be plentiful, such as the 'Wine Barrel Rolling Race' competing for time along a 160m corridor and the 'Wine Glass Carrying Race' balancing wine glasses on a tray without dropping them. Engaging games such as uncorking wine bottles and wine bottle fishing will also be available for serious fun. Enjoy three days fully savoring Yamanashi wines under the autumn sky.
