Suwa Lake Summer Night Fireworks 2026

At Kamisuwa Onsen (Lake Suwa) in Suwa City, Nagano Prefecture, the Suwa Lake Summer Night Fireworks will be held every day (except August 15) from Friday, July 24 to Sunday, August 23, 2026. Every night from 8:30 p.m. for about 10 minutes, approximately 500 fireworks will be launched, coloring the summer night sky and the lake surface. The starmine fireworks synchronized with music create a magical spectacle unique to Lake Suwa, and the sound echoing off the surrounding mountains is full of impact. The reflection of fireworks mirrored on the calm water surface is also beautiful, making it an event where you can fully feel the atmosphere of summer. You can gracefully enjoy the colorful, large blooms of fireworks from various locations, such as the lakeside lawn, rooms at hotels and ryokan, beer gardens, and sightseeing cruise boats.
