Held in Suwa City, Nagano Prefecture, "Kamisuwa Kaido Town Walk & Sake Tasting 2026" is an event where visitors can tour five sake breweries lined up along the Koshu Kaido near JR Kamisuwa Station and enjoy local sake and local food culture. Held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, the main venue will be a pedestrian zone. Participants can sample 5 or more varieties from each brewery's pride of local sake, totaling over 25 varieties, and taste special delicacies from local food stalls featuring Suwa region specialties and local restaurants. In addition, there are city walking map distributions and local attraction booths, allowing visitors to rediscover the charm of Suwa while strolling through the town. Organized and operated jointly by residents and sake breweries who preserve the local food culture, this event marks its 41st edition. Participation tickets are sold on e+, limited to 3,000 tickets. At the venue, tasting using an original Japanese cypress sake cup (hinoki masu) can be enjoyed.
