2026 Iiyama Snow Wonderland in Osaka

20 tons of natural snow from Iiyama City, Nagano Prefecture will be delivered to Osaka for the event '2026 Iiyama Snow Wonderland in Osaka', where visitors can experience snow even in summer. This event was planned by Iiyama City, a civic exchange sister city of Osaka City, to provide Osaka citizens with summer cooling and snow experiences. For Osaka citizens who rarely have the opportunity to touch snow, especially children, it will be a precious summer memory. The event will take place inside a marche venue, where visitors can enjoy shopping while playing in the cool snow area. At the Natural Snow Square, visitors can enjoy snow play and slide experiences organized by Kindai University, and the Iiyama City PR booth will introduce and sell tourist information and specialty goods. At the 'Seseragi Marche' held on the same day, special collaboration menus using specialty products from Iiyama City will also appear. The fountain will be stopped in the morning for event preparations.
