The 35th Shiojiri Daimon Marche

Held as a pedestrian precinct around the Daimon Shopping Street in Shiojiri City, Nagano Prefecture, the "35th Shiojiri Daimon Marche" is an event where everyone can casually enjoy rediscovering local attractions. It will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, across the Shiojiri Daimon Shopping Street, Wing Road, and core Shiojiri areas. A diverse lineup of dining establishments and food trucks will appear, serving biryani, curry bento boxes, fresh raw milk soft-serve ice cream, Nagano gelato, watermelon juice made from Hata, Matsumoto City watermelons, and more. In addition, a total of 63 shops will gather, offering handmade works such as landscape illustrations, quilt bags, bead accessories, and amigurumi, as well as aroma craft workshops, body care, and healing experiences. The pedestrian paradise venue will be lined with various gourmet foods, including yakitori, seasoned fries, taco rice, drinkable warabimochi, long french fries, crepes, and gelato. In the indoor booths, visitors can enjoy upcycled creations, sundry goods, bead accessories, miniature food crafts, fabric items, glass dragonfly beads (tombodama), massage experiences, pudding, baked goods, chiffon cakes, homemade yeast bread, and more. Furthermore, hands-on activity booths are abundant, including skincare products, aroma workshops, hand treatments, foot and nail care, painting workshops, resin accessory making experiences, and card readings. A traditional confectionery shop (dagashiya) will also offer penny sweets, soft-serve ice cream, and beverages.
