Held at Takabocchi Highlands in Shiojiri City, Nagano Prefecture, Takabocchi FES 2026 is an outdoor music festival set in one of Japan's most scenic locations, offering panoramic views overlooking Lake Suwa, majestic Mt. Fuji, and the Northern Alps. As a unique participatory music event of the city where participants play music together all at once while feeling the refreshing highland breeze, it features not only music but also various stalls serving exquisite local gourmet food, enjoyable for a wide range of generations. Admission for viewing is free. It is an event where you can experience the pinnacle of comfort, spending a special weekend freeing your mind away from the hustle and bustle of the city. As a music event where a large number of members perform the same song simultaneously, participation is open to vocalists as well as any musical instrument. Aiming to play music on a vast plateau at an altitude of 1,665 meters with a 360-degree panoramic view, anyone who loves music—from children to adults—is welcome, and members are encouraged to register casually.
