16th Fuchianmura Festival

About this event

The "16th Fuchianmura Matsuri" in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture, will take place over two days on Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4, 2026, at Fuchianmura (6-11-1 Kotobukikita, Matsumoto City / next to Restaurant Domanoma). Event hours are from 11:00 to 15:30 on both days. In the indoor hall, visitors can enjoy live performances by about 10 amateur bands from the prefecture. In the garden area, workshops and sales featuring handmade and unique crafts by local residents will take place. A free character stamp rally will also be held, where collecting characters at each stall will earn participants cotton candy. In addition, those who make purchases at any tenant shop will receive the perk of riding the "Fuchianmura Forest Railway." Admission is free with open entry and exit. The event is organized by the Fuchianmura Festival Executive Committee and is scheduled to be supported by Matsumoto City, Matsumoto City Board of Education, and Takebuchi Neighborhood Association.
