The overwhelming presence of Mount Asama, boasting an elevation of 2,568 meters, and its plumes of smoke conveying the heartbeat of the Earth, have long had a major impact on the lives and culture of the people living in this region. Through the collection of Saku Municipal Museum of Modern Art and items associated with Mount Asama, this exhibition awakens memories received from Mount Asama and allows visitors to experience the rich appeal of the local landscape and culture. It is a valuable opportunity to experience the connection between Mount Asama and people, as well as the regional scenery and culture influenced by it.
