About this event

Umeno Memorial Picture Gallery hosts a Night Museum (extended opening hours) on calendar full moon days, and as part of this, a concert titled "Waxing Moon, Resonating Sound - A Melody Weaving Japanese and Western Styles" will be held. In this event, koto player Yuka Mitsui and flute & piano player Fumie Kobayashi will perform beautiful melodies blending Japanese and Western elements, such as "Kojo no Tsuki," "Tsuki no Shizuku," and the "JIN Main Theme." Visitors can view the exhibition for free from 17:00 to 20:00 on that day, allowing you to enjoy an evening immersed in art and music alongside the concert. As the area around the museum becomes dark at night, bringing a light to illuminate your feet is recommended. Why not spend this special evening immersing yourself in the world of resonant music and art?
