About this event
At Tateiwa Washi no Sato in Nagawa Town, Nagano Prefecture, an event where you can savor fresh soba (new-crop buckwheat noodles) will be held. At this festival, you can enjoy limited new-soba menu items such as mori soba and karami oroshi (spicy grated radish) soba. Local products from Nagawa Town will also be on sale, and a large turnout is expected. At the venue, freshly hand-made soba crafted by local master noodle-makers using buckwheat flour cultivated in the Wada district of Nagawa Town will be sold in limited quantities. Furthermore, popular delicious oden and Nagawa Town-recommended products will also be available for purchase. In addition to serving soba, various event booths will be set up at the venue to entertain visiting guests.
