Hosted by VinVie, a satoyama winery in Southern Shinshu, "Gathering at Cider Valley" is a cider tasting and sales event holding its 3rd edition. It takes place at a special booth at the familiar Roadside Station Minami Shinshu Toyooka Marche (Michi-no-Eki Minami Shinshu Toyooka Marche) on the weekends of the 1st and 2nd weeks of September, when grapes reach peak season and early-ripening apples start appearing at farm stands. This event offers a rare opportunity to directly purchase cider produced in Southern Shinshu. Recommended not only for cider enthusiasts but also for anyone looking to discover the charms of Southern Shinshu, where you can savor delicious local cider alongside the flavors of autumn.
