About this event
The "Ontake Market," held at Ontake Ski Resort in Otaki Village, Nagano Prefecture, is an event centered on the sale of used snow gear (primarily ski and snowboard equipment), outdoor goods, and car accessories. Anyone—individuals and manufacturers alike—can set up a stall, with the aim of connecting unused gear to people who need it. The venue also gathers unique shops selling handmade miscellaneous goods, keychains, and more. Furthermore, a diverse array of food and drink stalls will open from inside and outside the prefecture, including the ramen shop "Boo Boo King," "ASIDE COFFEE," and shaved ice made with sweet corn, allowing visitors to enjoy food and shopping. A grand bingo tournament with prizes provided by Ontake Ski Resort will also be held, offering content that parents and children can enjoy all day long. Both admission and stall fees are free, and the event will be held indoors rain or shine. On the previous day, a one-night-only eve festival "BAR ROKU" will be held, along with "ONTAKE MOVIE NIGHT" looking back on past footage of Ontake. In addition, the car-camping spaces at Ontake Ski Resort will be open free of charge during the eve festival and market period.
