The "Jumangoku Festival", held in Ogaki City, Gifu Prefecture, is a lively festival that celebrates local history and culture. Held on Sunday, October 11, 2026 (Reiwa 8), it can be enjoyed from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with the parade starting at 11:00 AM. The venues are Tokiwa Shrine, Ogaki Castle Hall, Ogaki Station Avenue, and Ogaki Park Jonishi Plaza. It also features good access, being just a 5-minute walk from the South Exit of JR Ogaki Station. On the day of the event, Ogaki Station Avenue will be enlivened by a marching band parade, Ogaki City Youth Organization parade, Seino Transportation baseball team victory celebration parade, Ogaki Castle Matchlock Gun Troop demonstration, Jumangoku Odori Folk Dance Exchange Meet, and mikoshi (portable shrine) processions by children, adults, and local corporations. In addition, surrounding events include the Ogaki City Youth Organization Exchange Meet, Tokiwa Shrine religious rituals, snack sales and lottery, a Harley-Davidson motorcycle display, Tokiwa Shrine mikoshi procession, and Tokiwa Shrine rice cake tossing. As part of a friendly-city tourism exchange project, Hioki City's tourism PR, local product fair, and parade will also take place. The Jumangoku Festival Clean Operation is also scheduled as a co-sponsored project, making this an event that excites the entire community.
