'Let's Go to Mountain Castles! 2026' is an event centered on the theme 'Learn, Tour, Support, and Gather!' offering multifaceted experiences of the charm of mountain castles in Kani City and surrounding areas. The event kicks off with a traveling talk show 'Jinbure' (Mobilization Call) at Gifu Sekigahara Battlefield Memorial Museum, followed by 'Hyojo' (Council), a lecture series featuring gorgeous guest speakers at Kani Public Arts Center ala, 'Kassen' (Battle), a stamp rally visiting mountain castles and eateries in the city, and 'Kessen' (Decisive Battle), featuring hospitality programs by maintenance organizations and sword-fighting (chanbara) battles at local castle ruins and the main venue. In particular, 'Jinbure' features commentary on mountain castles recommended by Asami Kuboi as well as mountain castles in Kani City, allowing attendees to deepen their understanding of mountain castles. Through this event, participants can experience Kani City's rich history and culture and discover new charms of mountain castles.
