Held on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at Hamanako Garden Park (Hamamatsu City), the "24th Lake Hamana Eel Festival" aims to promote and expand the consumption of eels harvested from Lake Hamana. The venue will feature booths promoting the appeal of Lake Hamana eels as well as corners introducing projects that utilize the region's rich industrial resources. In addition, interactive exchange booths for citizens will be set up, offering an opportunity to strengthen inter-regional ties. Furthermore, an eel culinary culture exchange with Urawa, Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture is planned, promising fresh discoveries through food culture. In the pleasant autumn weather, this event allows families and friends to fully enjoy the blessings of Lake Hamana and the charms of the region.
