Lake Hamana Lantern & Hamamatsu Halloween Lantern

About this event

Held in Hamamatsu City in October 2026, "Lake Hamana Lantern" and "Hamamatsu Halloween Lantern" are first-time hands-on events hosted by the Japan e-Lantern Association. Using eco-friendly and safe LED lanterns that float on helium gas and can be collected via attached strings, both environmental consideration and safety are achieved. Being a flameless LED type, it features soft light diffusing through Japanese washi paper. Participants can dress up in costumes, float lanterns, and enjoy a special Halloween night. Families, couples, and friends alike can enjoy the magical scenery spreading across the night sky while fully experiencing the Halloween atmosphere. To turn a momentary emotional experience into a lifetime memory, it aims to give shape to that irreplaceable moment—a time to think about loved ones and look up at the sky while wishing together. The gentle light spreads across the night sky, creating a scene where everyone's wishes overlap. Departing slightly from everyday life, you can experience a special space where the night view and lantern light blend together.
