📅 Sun, Sep 13, 2026
About this event
This is an event to learn about the sacred kimonos of the deities and the attire of Shinto priests serving at the shrine while exploring the hidden faith of Mishima Taisha. By seeing the "Shozoku" (vestments) worn during specific rituals, you can learn about the history of the shrine as well as the faith and culture concealed within. Through this precious experience unique to Mishima Taisha, you can deepen your understanding of history and culture. For those interested among the participants, an experience of trying on the vestments is also available (a lottery will be held in case of many applicants).
