Direct Instruction by Daikagura Masters! Daikagura Workshop

About this event

This is a valuable hands-on workshop where you can try your hand at the acrobatic stunts of Daikagura, a traditional auspicious performance. Daikagura masters will directly teach basic techniques such as juggling (otedama), balancing stunts, and spinning umbrellas with their skilled expertise. It is a rare opportunity to receive direct instruction from four Daikagura performers: Senshiro, Sennari, Kosuke, and Koki of the Kagami troupe. After the workshop, you can also enjoy the 'Kawanehoncho Cultural Hall 40th Anniversary Entertainment Festival' (separate ticket required).
