About this event
Art Aquarium Exhibition Nagoya 2026 will be held from Friday, July 24 to Wednesday (national holiday), September 23, 2026, at Chunichi Hall & Conference located in Sakae, Naka Ward, Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture. This exhibition is an immersive entertainment art event themed around goldfish, expressing the traditional Japanese culture of goldfish appreciation as contemporary art within a fantastical space created with lighting, scents, and sound. Visitors can experience the goldfish culture continuing since the Edo period through the artistic beauty of aquarium installations, atmospheric staging, and an unparalleled worldview woven together by approximately 3,000 goldfish across around 70 species. In addition to last year's highly acclaimed Goldfish Evaluation, many new works are scheduled to be unveiled, offering content that can be enjoyed by first-timers and repeaters alike. It provides a refreshing moment to forget everyday bustle and be soothed by the graceful swimming of goldfish. The venue is Chunichi Hall & Conference on the 6th floor of Chunichi Building, a new landmark in Sakae, Nagoya.
