Hana no Hikari Project 2026

About this event

The "Hana no Hikari Project 2026" will be held around the Yakachi River in Handa City, Aichi Prefecture, illuminating the stunning scenery of approximately 3 million blooming red spider lilies. Created through the collaboration of local residents who wish to preserve the beautiful scenery of red spider lilies for the future, this illumination event colors the venue with illuminated flowers along the Yakachi River embankment as well as paper lanterns and ambient lights. Furthermore, on the night of Saturday, October 3, a sky lantern launch is scheduled along the Yakachi River embankment, creating a magical spectacle. Visitors can also enjoy various events and food and beverage sales from food trucks. Known as the setting of Nankichi Niimi's literary works, the harmony of light and flowers emerging on a long autumn night along the Yakachi River is sure to enchant visitors.
