About this event

Co-hosted by the Otsu Jazz Festival, "Michigan Jazz Night" is a special cruise event aboard the paddle steamer "Michigan" where you can savor live jazz and dinner. This year, the saxophone quartet "Quartet West" led by Minoru Satomura will appear, presenting a powerful saxophone ensemble performance. In addition, talented jazz singer Chie Sugiyama, who is also active as an FM Otsu radio personality, will participate as a special guest, sparking a passionate live session. For dining, guests can enjoy a buffet specially prepared by the Michigan chef along with all-you-can-drink beverages including wine. While gazing at the beautiful night view of Lake Biwa, you can spend a luxurious time enriched by high-quality music and fine cuisine. A fireworks display lighting up the lake is also scheduled as the climax of the cruise, capping off a special night.
