Held at Ohara Kannonji Temple in Maibara City, Shiga Prefecture, "Mitsunari Falconry and Three Cups of Tea" is an event associated with the Sengoku warlord Ishida Mitsunari. Based on the famous anecdote of the "Three Cups of Tea" involving Toyotomi Hideyoshi and Ishida Mitsunari, this hands-on event features reenactments of falconry scenes by samurai troupes and live falconry demonstrations. It offers a rare opportunity to directly experience the atmosphere of the Sengoku period in a historic setting.
