Featuring a complete lineup of great-value pottery unique to the production area, the "Kiyomizu-yaki no Sato Festival" is a 3-day event visited by fans from all over Japan. A large pottery market is held where hundreds of thousands of tableware pieces, tea sets, flower vases, interior goods, and more can be purchased at bargain prices. Furthermore, numerous attractions allowing visitors to experience the charm of pottery are available, including ceramic workshops and Raku ware experiences. Visitors can look forward to discovering bargains and one-of-a-kind treasures unique to pottery markets while finding their favorite pieces through interactions with artisans. Workshops and food/drink booths are also set up, offering content that can be enjoyed throughout the entire day. Direct special shuttle buses also run from JR Kyoto Station, providing convenient access.
