The Okinawa music festival "Haisai Ryukyu Matsuri in Takatsuki 2026" will be held in Takatsuki City. In this event that anyone can enjoy, you can experience Okinawan music and culture. Following last year's great success, this will be the second edition. Drink, eat, sing, and dance—it is sure to be the happiest festival. Admission is free, and the event will proceed rain or shine. Packed with a grand raffle to win trips to Okinawa or sanshin instruments, as well as food and drink booths, you can enjoy Okinawan cuisine, Orion beer, and more. Because the venue is the roofed "SAKURA Square," it is windy and cool even on hot days, and safe even on rainy days. On the day, diverse artists are scheduled to appear, including Ma-chan Band, Yurika Oyama, Rio Higashizato, and Tasuku Kamiya. In addition, Eisa dances, karate demonstrations, and participatory projects created together by all such as "100-Person Sanshin & 100-Person Eisa" and the "Papaya Contest" will also be held. The festival aims to deliver the spirit of Ryukyu (the islands and homeland) and attain peace through singing and dancing joyfully across all ages.
