Held as a 45th-anniversary commemorative performance, 'Kodo One Earth Tour 2026: Haruka' is the latest production directed by Yuki Hirata. Overlapping the journey Kodo has walked (past, present, and future) with the reverberations of taiko drums, this performance delivers a celebratory time wrapped in blessings. It expresses a hopeful, bright worldview where joy resounds and happiness spreads. Conveying the message that the sound of taiko drums has connected people throughout all eras, it plays exhilarating, joy-filled sounds of hope toward the future. The performance is scheduled to last approximately 90 minutes (including an intermission).
