About this event
In Kumatori Town, Osaka Prefecture, the "33rd Town Citizens' Cultural Festival," an annual autumn event to present the results of daily cultural activities, will be held. Art exhibitions, stage performances, food/game stalls, bazaars, and hands-on trial corners will be set up. In the art exhibition, themes are open across flower arrangement, haiku, calligraphy, photography, ceramics, painting, and more, with applications limited to one piece per person in each category. Exhibition venues include Come Come Plaza and Smiles Rengakan. In the stage performances, a wide variety of acts will be presented, such as koto music, chorus, tai chi, taisho harp, shamisen, ballroom dance, fitness gymnastics, kimono dressing, Japanese traditional dance, magic, modern dance, shigin (chanted poetry), and folk songs. Stalls, bazaars, and hands-on corners will be held at locations including Come Come Plaza/Kitene Hall front plaza, the Kumatori Fureai Center parking lot, and Smiles Rengakan. Applications to participate are open to residents of Kumatori Town, commuters/students in the town, and various local organizations. The application period is from July 15 to July 30, 2026.
