About this event
Hinenosho Oki no Sato Cosmos Garden, located in the Oki district of Izumisano City, Osaka Prefecture, is situated in an area designated as a Nationally Important Cultural Landscape, Rural Landscape of Hinenosho Oki. This cosmos garden is a place where you can enjoy the blooming of cosmos flowers amid the expansive traditional rural landscape. Centered around the Oki Town Planning Council, it opens every year utilizing fallow rice paddies. Surrounded by rich nature in what can be called Japan's original landscape, you can appreciate the beautiful cosmos flowers while feeling the arrival of autumn. During the opening period, the garden is open from 9:00 to 16:00 (last entry at 15:40) depending on the blooming condition of the cosmos. Admission is free, but it may be closed in the event of rain. A temporary parking lot is provided at the cosmos garden, but using public transportation is recommended as heavy congestion is expected on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays during the event period. Celebrating its 12th year, local residents take the lead from opening preparations to management and operation. Blooming conditions can be checked on Izumisano City's official website.
