KOBE AUTUMN FESTIVAL 2026 ~Kobe Moving Towards the Future~ is Kobe's largest urban autumn festival, held over two days on Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4, 2026, across Sannomiya Chuo-dori, Kyomachi-suji, and the waterfront area in Chuo-ku, Kobe. Held since 2022, this marks its 5th edition. Taking the entire city of Kobe as its stage, this participatory event promotes the appeal of Kobe and Hyogo Prefecture through food, art, music, fashion, and sports experiences. In the lively pedestrian zones created by closing roads and in the waterfront area, food trucks and PR booths from Kobe-based companies will line up, alongside diverse content such as live stages and special cruise projects taking advantage of the Port of Kobe. The Shinko Pier and Rinko Line area will host "THE SPORTS & SHOW" featuring sports experiences and performances; Sannomiya Chuo-dori will feature "THE EATS & ARTS," a space blending gourmet food and art; and Kyomachi-suji will offer "THE FIELD (After Expo Hyogo Legacy Festa)," an experiential area to encounter Hyogo Prefecture's culture and industry. Admission is free for both children and adults, with approximately 100,000 visitors expected. Walking from the city to the sea provides an opportunity to experience new charms of Kobe connecting to the future.
