"Meat & Cattle Farmers Gathering! Nationwide Wa-Gyu Festival 2026" is a food festival where Wagyu and branded beef from across Japan gather in Kobe. Organized by the media site "Ushitabi Wasabee," which has covered approximately 150 cattle barns across Japan, this culinary celebration lets visitors savor prized beef raised by dedicated cattle farmers. The venue will feature a diverse lineup of gourmet dishes including beef skewers, meat pies, and roast beef bowls using branded Wagyu from across the country, such as Wagyu Namahage (Akita Prefecture), Shinshu Minemura Beef (Nagano Prefecture), and Tosa Akaushi (Kochi Prefecture). Furthermore, an outdoor BBQ-style yakiniku area limited to 30 seats per day will open in the evening for authentic grilled beef dining. On October 10 and 11, "Wagyuri," the official mascot of the 13th National Wagyu Capability Competition Hokkaido Tournament, is also scheduled to appear, offering visitors a full experience of cattle farming and premium beef.
