Railway Day Hanshin Festival 2026

About this event

Held once a year by Hanshin Electric Railway Co., Ltd. in conjunction with Railway Day, the Railway Day Hanshin Festival 2026 will take place across two venues: the Amagasaki Depot venue and the Amagasaki Castle Ruins Park venue. At the Amagasaki Depot venue, visitors can experience various railway attractions, including tours of facilities and train cars inside the depot and maintenance factory normally closed to the public, mini Hanshin train rides, train conductor experiences, passing through a train wash machine, ballast tamping work experiences, and hands-on railway signal and crossing gate operations. This depot venue requires advance application, with 7,000 guests invited by lottery. Meanwhile, at the Amagasaki Castle Ruins Park venue, there will be model rail toy displays popular with children, Hanshin Bus exhibits, and food truck stalls, with no advance application required and open to anyone. Both venues offer content enjoyable across generations from children to adults, making it highly recommended for families as well as railway enthusiasts. At the Amagasaki Depot venue, an auction sale of railway parts will also be held.
