Organized by the Nara Dance Federation, "Nara Dance Festival 2026" will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 (public holiday) at the Heguri Town General Cultural Center "Kumagashi Hall." The purpose of this event is to spread the appeal of ballroom dancing and allow all participants to enjoy dance from the bottom of their hearts. The party consists of three parts: Part 1 features amateur presentations, group performances, and a kids' dance showcase on a dazzling stage. Part 2 provides approximately 15 minutes of dance time where participants can freely step onto the floor to enjoy ballroom dancing. Furthermore, Part 3 features a "Casual Mini-Demo," allowing visitors to easily try disciplines such as waltz, tango, rumba, and cha-cha-cha on the day. The participation fee is 1,000 yen per person, with a flat partner fee of 2,000 yen, and registration is accepted until 15:00 on the day. The venue is easily accessible, located about a 1-minute walk from Kintetsu Heguri Station. Heel covers are recommended for women.
