A photo exhibition by photographer Kenichiro Otsuka, a native of Hokuei Town in Tottori Prefecture, titled "Photography Changes the World - From Hokuei Town to the World -" will be held at Hokuei Mirai Denshokan. Mr. Otsuka has received high international acclaim, including being selected as a finalist in the world's largest photo contest for five consecutive years. Through a collection of internationally acclaimed works, this exhibition explores the potential of a single photograph to move people's hearts, provide healing and hope, and change society. In particular, it focuses on the "true power of photography" across three fields: wedding photography, healthcare & dementia care, and recruit portraits. Beyond simply taking beautiful pictures, it conveys the importance of engaging with individuals, taking in their life stories, and preserving an image that connects to the future. Gallery talks will also be held, offering an opportunity to experience firsthand the power of photography.
